E-Auctions: Real-time auctions in live stream

With our E-Auctions, you as a trader can bid via the internet from any location, just as with classic online auctions. Unlike the “classic” variant, however, the auctions do not have a fixed term, but function like real-time auctions: On a specific date, the vehicles, all of which come from the joint Europcar and Buchbinder rental vehicle fleet, are auctioned off one after the other - in a live stream from our auction hall. This allows you to witness how our auctioneers present the vehicles, collect the bids and award the contract by gavel live. That’s the real auction experience! 

The E-Auctions take place approximately every 14 days and each has a different vehicle focus, for example young used, light commercial vehicles, or damaged and accident vehicles.

Your advantages with every E-Auction:

• Fair market prices: Our auctions are like a small marketplace. No participant will offer prices that do not promise sufficient profit margin.
• No commission: All vehicles are from our own fleet and are auctioned by us. External service providers who charge commissions or fees are eliminated.
• No provisional sales and no renegotiation: All sales decisions are made immediately upon acceptance of the bid. This also guarantees absolute price security for you.
• No hidden subsequent costs: We prepare documents for you free of charge. We also leave the transport of the vehicles to you. You don’t have to pay for a service provider you don’t want.
• Some vehicles without a minimum price: You can also bid online at our multi-day in-person auctions, the live auctions. Some vehicles are auctioned off without a minimum price. For that special bargain!
• Special auctions by vehicle category: For example, we regularly auction only young used vehicles, commercial vehicles, or accident vehicles. This makes your selection easier and saves time.
• Pre-selection on your own time: Before each auction, you can access all vehicle-specific information and images with just a few clicks and mark your desired vehicles.
• Maximum convenience: The intuitive user platform and helpful tools such as the reminder function and our bidding agent make bidding as easy as possible for you.
• Excitement and entertainment: Live streaming allows you to experience the thrill that only a real-time auction with an auctioneer and gavel can provide. Going once, going twice, going three times!

Procedure of our E-Auctions – what you should remember

To participate in our digital real-time auctions, all you need to do is log in with your account at buchbinder-sale.de. Already on the start page you will see the date of the next auction. One more click and you will get an overview of all vehicles offered there. Detailed condition reports and photos from an independent inspection organization are available for all vehicles. Then you can select and mark your desired vehicles.

During the auction, the bidding interface shows you three windows: the vehicle currently on sale, the live stream, and the bids. To bid, you only need to click on the button with the subsequent bid displayed there. If you do not have time to participate directly, our bidding agent will help you. It automatically bids up to the maximum of your pre-set maximum bid.

Once you have won the bid, all you have to do is transfer the money for the vehicle. We then hand over all the necessary vehicle documents and prepare the vehicle for pick-up at our logistics center in Neunburg vorm Wald.
