1.1 What is Buchbinder Sale?
Buchbinder Sale is the central platform for joint vehicle remarketing from Buchbinder and Europcar for car dealers and businesses in the B2B sector.
1.2 What is Buchbinder direct sales?
With Buchbinder direct sales you have the opportunity to purchase vehicles 365 days a year. All vehicles on buchbinder-sale.de come with status reports and are presented in detail. In addition, the Buchbinder sales team will be happy to advise you individually on your vehicle requirements and accompany you personally from the consultation and the vehicle purchase to the purchase transaction.
1.3 Who is allowed to participate in an auction?
Only automotive dealers and other traders are authorized to the auction. Unfortunately, private individuals can not participate in our auctions.
1.4 How can I participate in an auction?
You have the choice between a live or an online participation. You are welcome to register for our auctions here to participate live on site at our auctions or you visit our website buchbinder-auktion.de, log in for the livestream of the auction and simply make your bid comfortable online.
1.5 What is Europcar 2ndMove?
At Europcar you can not only rent cars, but also buy them! You can easily register at buchbinder-sale.de. After we’ve checked your registration and validated your account, you will find all current vehicle offers under direct sales > vehicle search or on the homepage under all vehicles. If you are interested in individual offers or vehicle packages, you can of course also contact our sales team directly here.
2.2 Who may purchase vehicles at Buchbinder Sale?
Buchbinder Sale sells its vehicles exclusively to B2B customers. As a national or international dealer you have the opportunity to purchase a large selection of cars, light commercial and accident vehicles from the rental fleet of the Europcar Mobility Group.

3.1 How can I participate in an auction?
You can choose between participating live on site or online. You are welcome to register for our 3-day Buchbinder Auktion using the hotel reservation function on our website in order to take part in our auctions live on site. If you wish to take part online, just visit our website buchbinder-sale.de, log into your customer account and join the live stream of the current auction so that you can bid online easily and conveniently. All you need is a registered user account. Thanks to the smart bidding tool, you can participate online on all common devices such as PCs, laptops as well as mobile devices like tablets and smartphones.
3.2 Who can take part in a Buchbinder auction?
National and international dealers and traders are allowed to participate, both at the live on-site auction and online. Unfortunately, private individuals can not take part in our auctions.
3.3 How do I book a hotel?
Are you interested in taking part in one of our live auctions but have a long journey? No problem! As a further auction highlight, we will be happy to provide you with a free hotel room in one of our partner hotels. In order to have a look at our range of vehicles, a prior login on our website is required. On the homepage you will find under "our vehicle range" the three tabs "Direct sales" I "Online & live auctions" & "2nd move auctions & buy now". Here, for example, the currently active auctions are displayed and a corresponding vehicle catalog including all catalog numbers is available for download. You can also find all vehicle offers from the various sales channels under the respective menu item in the "Vehicle search" or under "All vehicles".
6.2 How can I optimize my search?
In addition, when searching for a vehicle, you can use the blue search bar "Advanced Search" to search for specific brands, models, drives, mileage, etc. A distinction is also made here between cars and commercial vehicles according to the type.
7.1 How can I register?

Please note that only automotive vehicle dealers and tradespeople have access to our platform.
- • Make sure the “I am a professional” tab is selected.
- • Enter your VAT ID in the field and click on “Check Tax ID”.
- • Click on the flags to select the markets you want to access in the future. The prerequisite for us to be able to activate you for our platform Buchbinder Sale is the selection of the German flag. In the registration form, select “dealer / supermarket” as activity and fill in the rest of the form completely.
- • If you have successfully submitted your registration, you will receive a confirmation email from email@example.com about the receipt of your registration request.

New customers can register here. In addition to your personal details, you also need the following documents for your registration:

7.3 What costs will I have to pay for a registration?
Registration on Buchbinder Sale is free of charge for all customers! There are no admission / registration fees or other hidden costs!
7.4 How long does the registration process take?
Registration usually takes place within 24 hours on workdays. When all data and documents are complete and your account has been activated, you will receive a separate confirmation email from each market you inquired. From this point on, it is possible to log in and purchase vehicles on our platform.
8.1 Can I inspect the cars before the auction?
There are two options for the assessment. If you take part in one of our auctions live on site, you can inspect the vehicles personally. If you do not have the opportunity to be there in person, you can find out about the condition of the vehicles online in our auction area at buchbinder-sale.de by checking the condition reports available for each vehicle. There you will find descriptions of all known damages and detailed photos of the vehicle.
8.2 Which cars are up for auction?
All vehicles offered come from the company's own Buchbinder & Europcar fleet. All auction vehicles are recorded in an electronic sales catalog, which also contains the respective vehicle catalog number as well as specific vehicle data. These auction catalogs are available for download online at buchbinder-sale.de before the start of the auction, but are also available live on site.
8.3 I cannot log in, what can I do?
If you can not log in, there could be several reasons. If you have forgotten your password, you can request your access data via the login mask under “Forgot password”. 9.1 How can I bid?
Participation in one of our auctions requires that your registration on buchbinder-sale.de has been successfully completed. If you are live on site, you will receive your personalized bidder number from the reception staff after registration. You can then submit a corresponding bid by raising your bidder number or showing your hand in the direction of the auctioneer. A corresponding link is available online for the respective auction on buchbinder-sale.de with which you can follow the transmission from the auction hall in real time. The current bid is always displayed during the live broadcast. With the blue "Bid" button you can place your bid in the given bid steps. We expressly point out that all bids are binding and that they are net bids. If you do not have time to take part in the auction directly, you can also set the Buchbinder bid agent who will bid for you up to your chosen maximum bid.
9.2 Can I increase my previously submitted bid during the auction?
If you have set the bidding agent and thus submitted an automatic maximum bid, you can of course also bid manually at any time and thus increase your bid.
9.3 Can I cancel my bid?
Every bid related to auction goods represents an offer to conclude a purchase contract and is therefore legally binding. The purchase contract for an auction item is concluded when the bid has been accepted. The highest bidder obliges to pay the purchase price and to accept the auction goods. The bid can not therefore be canceled.
9.4 Can I see the cars I have already bought?
After the auction you can find your bought vehicles on our home page under the heading My Area> My Auctions > Bought vehicles. All vehicles for which you submitted the highest bid are listed there. If you have been outbid, the vehicle will not appear there.
10.1 Did I receive the contract for my car? If so, what do I have to do?
You can see whether you have been awarded a vehicle on our platform under the heading My Area > My auctions > Bought vehicles. All the vehicles listed there belong to you. You will receive a purchase list shortly after the auction and the corresponding invoice will be sent to you in the course of the following week, both by email and by post. As soon as we have received your payment, you can arrange a collection date here.
10.2 When do I receive my invoice?
The invoice for your purchased vehicles will be created by us as soon as possible. You will receive this both by email and by post. If you have not received an invoice within 10 days, please contact us via email at email@example.com, by phone at 00800 83848586 (free of charge) or at +49 941 60824 100.
10.3 How can I pay?
The purchase price is due immediately upon invoicing. Payment must be made by bank transfer. The account must be in the name of the buyer. The seller is not obliged to accept checks or bills of exchange.
10.4 What happens if I don't pay for my goods?
We reserve ownership of the sold vehicle until all of our current and future claims from the sales contract and an ongoing business relationship (secured claims) have been paid completely. A vehicle that has not been paid for cannot be picked up. The vehicle that is subject to retention of title may not be pledged to third parties or assigned as security before the secured claims have been paid in full. The buyer must inform us immediately in writing if and to the extent that third parties access the vehicles belonging to us.
10.5 How can I pick up my vehicles?
You can make an appointment to collect your vehicle here. Please note that for organizational reasons, collection must be registered at least 24 hours before the scheduled collection date. We also point out that you have to pay for the transport costs as well as any customs duties, fees, taxes and other public charges from the location of the auction goods yourself. You can collect all of the vehicles you have bought in person or you can instruct a person / forwarding agent to issue a collection authorization. We would be happy to put you in contact with cooperating freight forwarders.
10.6 I cannot pick up my vehicles on the agreed pick-up date, what can I do?
If you are unable to attend an appointment that has already been made, this is not a problem. However, we ask that you inform us as soon as possible by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then be happy to arrange a new collection date with you.
10.7 Can I have my vehicles delivered?
Unfortunately, we do not offer transport solutions at the moment, but we will be happy to put you in contact with cooperating freight forwarders. Please contact our sales team in this regard.
10.8 When will I receive the documents for the vehicle?
You will usually receive the associated vehicle documents within 14 days of payment of all outstanding claims.
11.1 What does "without additional fee" mean?
Additional fee means the auction fee (usually a percentage), which is added to the auction price. At Buchbinder Auktion are no additional fees, the customer does not have to expect any further costs, which are related directly to the auction. Only a service fee of € 18.90 per purchased vehicle is charged for providing the vehicle pickup.
11.2 What does "without reservation" mean?
With us applies: Every surcharge applies as a sale, meaning we auction WITHOUT RESERVATION. “Under reservation” means that vehicle sellers can set a minimum price for an auction they would like to attain for their vehicle. If this minimum price is not reached at the auction, the vehicle is "under reservation" and only afterwards it will be decided whether the seller really wants to sell the vehicle at this (lower) price.
11.3 Can I buy without value-added tax if my company is not located in Germany?
Buyers / bidders without a proven registered office in the Federal Republic of Germany and without a German VAT identification number can receive an invoice without VAT if they can fully meet the requirements applicable under German VAT law.
11.4 Minimum price - what is it?
The minimum price is the price below each of our vehicles is not auctioned off. This can therefore be understood as a starting price. As an exception, our "Still for Sale" auction always takes place WITHOUT a minimum price!
11.5 What is "STILL FOR SALE"?
On the last day of the 3-day auction event, selected vehicles will again be auctioned under the slogan “Still for Sale”, but this time WITHOUT A MINIMUM PRICE. This means that if the bid is accepted, the vehicle is considered sold.
11.6 What is a bidding agent? How can I use it?
With the help of a bidding agent, you can participate in the auction even if you are not online at the time of the auction. To do this, submit a maximum bid in advance for a vehicle of your choice. This bid is only visible to you. The bidding agent then bids for you on the day of the auction (always holds the current highest bid) until your maximum bid is reached. Of course, you can return to the auction process in person at any time. One advantage of the bidding agent is that he reacts and bids faster than other interested parties without a bidding agent - especially in very long auctions, where concentration tends to decrease at the end of the day.
12.1 Do I have a guarantee right on the vehicles I have bought?
You will find a detailed status reports for each of the vehicles for sale on our auction platform. This is decisive in the event of deviations from the general condition displayed in the vehicle description. The details of the individual vehicles do not constitute a guarantee and do not represent an assurance of a particular use. A guarantee for the condition of the vehicles is generally not given.
12.2 My car is incomplete or defective. What can I do?
If the vehicle has defects that are mentioned in the status report, this is not a defect in quality or title.
